I've been a fan of Tactical RPG's even before it was famous. Final Fantasy Tactics and it's kind, since then, loads of this genre has been released. Most of them were not as good but when Disgaea : Hours of Darkness was released for PS2, it caught my attention. I told myself, "Hmm.. Might as well give it a try". I bought the game and boom! I was hooked..
Disgaea : Hours of Darkness offers an interesting storyline that consists of a Demon Prince, his servants, an angel assassin and exploding penguins! The gameplay was great, innovative monster kinds but still has those cliche'd characters (Fire,Wind and Ice types~)
But it offers over 100 hours of gameplay and unlike other games. You can reach up to level 9999. Being a successful game from Nippon Ichi, they came up with the Disgaea 2 : Cursed Memories. This offered new characters and comebacks of the characters from the first game. With Disgaea 3 coming it's way for PS3 and Disgaea for Nintendo DS! We all should give it a try for it's an amazing game and for the fans... rejoice!
