From DSfanboy, New screens show a new installment for Harvest Moon franchise, the Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness. Like all of the Harvest Moon games, you will have to farm, grow your veggies and more.

And as usual, you choose whether your character will be a boy or a girl. You build your own farm, interact with other NPC's and sooner or later, your goal is to get married. There are new areas to explore in this installment. Harvest Moon fans will be delighted to see this game, It's release date is 26th of August, 2008.

nothing has been added unfortunately, except for new places and story line.. and oh.. you can now plant rice!
